" fascination is this disembodied passion of a gaze without an object, of a gaze without an image. It is that of a vitrified exacerbation of the body, of a vitrified exacerbation of a genitalia; often an empty scene where nothing takes place and which nonetheless fills our vision. It is also that of informaion or of the political in which nothing takes place and by which we are nonetheless saturated."

"a cut in nature moves things"
JEAN BAUDRILLARD.

READING BAUDILLIARD, I HAVE BEEN THINKING OF THIS IDEA OF APPEARANCE AND DISAPPEARANCE OF OBJECTS AND THIS IDEA OF REVERSALS.. MOMENTS THAT WE ENCOUNTER AND FIND OURSELVES BEYOND SOMEWHERE WE ARE AT.
MOMENT OF BEING IN BETWEEN A STAIR AND A DOOR, YET ENCLOSED BY THIS VOID. OUR ONLY CLOSURE ON THIS BRIDGE IS THE VOID.
ASCENDING- THE STAIR
APPEARANCE -THE OBJECT
TOUCHING THE OBJECT-DISAPPEARANCE

A BRIDGE, A PASSAGE, A MOMENT OF PAUSE THROUGH THIS TOUCH THAT WE CREATE( AN OBJECT APPEARS IN MY CASE IT WAS THE INTERVENTION OF THE RAILING) AND ONCE I HAVE TOUCHED THAT( IT DISAPPEARS AND I MOVE FROM THAT...)

RIGHT NOW, I AM LOOKING AT JOHN O'REILLY'S WORK, WHO TOOK PICTURES AND MADE COLLAGES THROUGH CUTTING, RECOMBINING , AND HE WOULD SHOOT HIMSELF IN MOST OF THESE IMAGES AND CUT THEM RECOMBINE THEM WITH PARTS OF A STATUE OR A PAINTING ETC..
