yea it's a great video. the shadows come across as a double of the objects moving in and out of the frame and because it's in black and white and the only thing we read from the people are their shade and shadow (and due to the old camera's resolution), they engulf one another momentarily to create larger dark areas, extending into space. The effect of mirroring and overlaying he uses definitely portrays the spatial conditions that suggests for me the potential in skewing edge conditions.

i watched it both with the sound turned off and on as well - I don't like listening to added music and not the natural sound of those moments with the visual because i know the music can dominate how i feel and perceive how i render things i look at, and when i listen to music i want to close my eyes and imagine what i can see -
- the music adds to the obliviousness of the "grandeur of the event" - as though these people are marching - with a sense of direction and purpose. at some point, the music is much more sensitive and dreamy as though time has been stalled.
