Moving the Obelisk.

I have a bunch of pictures and stuff from the New York public library. I'll give them to you next time I see you.

i saw this picture, but this is old technology about 130 years ago.if i try to move the niddle, just a huge truck or crane is enough.

we can talk about this later.
anyway, thank you.

This is just my geuss, but because the obelisk is made of stone, which is a rather brittle material (it works poorly in tension) and its section is rather small in comparison to its length, that even with modern technology there would be a lot more to moving it than simply picking it up with a crane.

also remember that the obelisk is a priceless museum piece, which in general has an impact on the way obelisks are treated when they are moved

i think we should waste less time on thinking about moving this thing.
kyung has yet to present why it is paramount to relocate this.

i should respect the exhisting conditions. so i think that the current position is one of best. the architect who made the last extension considered the obelisk. so i'm trying to make it lower at the the same position.

dont make it lower...keep it at its elevation...support it

it is a serious problem. if i can't make it lower, i should change everything.

Do you mean a long base of it?
