So after finishing four perspectives based on photographs i took of my unfinished detail model, I decided to go back to it and finish it. Im working on the fully enclosed floor of the model and decided that I will put the floor on the upper structure, but am not going to build the other elements because it would largely be repetitive of the floor below and probably not an especially good use of my time. That said, would it be weird to use unfinished nature of the upper floor to my advantage, by cutting holes in the floor plate so that i can shine light down to create effects where there might be artificial lighting in the ceiling of the apartment below? Would it be confusing to people to see wholes cut in the upper, unfinished floor?

i think you may have answered the question yourself...meaning it may be confusing for others. but why not use this idea by making a mock floor plate with the cuts for your photographing and then the real plates for your presentation?
please post the new perspectives when you can.
