    I made a list of words and ideas that I had been work from for my metaphor. 'Frame of mind' is what I am came up with. The idea being what is seen and how it is perceived.

    frame of mind isnt a metaphor.
    the mind is a frame.
    or
    the frame is a mind.
    ok...how so?
    i dont think either of these are strong or specific enough.
    and i dont know enough about what you are thinking to help.
